September 11th

Hello Hi League Families! On Sept. 23rd the kids don't have school, so we are offering an alternative for them! Throughout the year on no school days we'll have some outing planned for 6th-12th grade youth. These days will consist of some sort of service work/volunteer in the morning and then a fun outing in the afternoon. I need drivers to make these events possible, so please consider! Our first outing will be to Arc's Value Village where we will help sort and organize donations. Then after lunch we'll go hang out at Como Zoo & Conservatory. Kids MUST sign up by Sept. 18th. You can find a sign up link on our app under the Youth>Confirmation & Hi League Tab, or by clicking this link. Reminders: Our first Wednesday night Confirmation will be September 18th in the Fellowship Hall (it's also a Parent night, so please have at least one parent join us!). Our Sunday classes will begin on September 22nd from 10:30-11:00 in the downstairs youth room. Kids should bring their Bibles and sermon notes from worship if they did them.  October 27th is Confirmation Sunday! Our 9th grade confirmands will be confirmed in their faith during worship. Wednesday, Sept. 11 5:30-9:30 Hang Out Sunday, Sept. 15 9:00 Worship with your family No School Day Outing: Arc's Value Village & Como Zoo September 23rd | 7:45 Depart | 4:00-5:00 Return 6th-12th graders will spend the morning volunteering at Arc's, eat lunch, and explore Como Zoo! Fall Youth Retreat October 9-11 | Luther Point Bible Camp Every fall our Confirmation and Hi League kids venture up to Luther Point Bible Camp near Grantsburg, WI for a retreat. There is no school Thursday or Friday, so we'll leave after class on Wednesday night (about 7:00/30) and come back home Friday afternoon (about 2:00/30). Kids often say this is their favorite event of the year, so we highly encourage it!
