Hello Hi League Families! Congratulations to our 9th grade youth who were confirmed on Sunday! If you missed the service, you can watch the whole worship here, OR watch just the sermons/faith statements here. 9th grade families: look for a separate email regarding photos.  We're going to Feed My Starving Children in Coon Rapids, MN THIS SATURDAY, Nov. 2nd! Read more about it & sign up in the "Upcoming Events" below, or on the church app. Also coming up is the 2019 Godstock High School Youth Gathering! It's a great weekend event held at the Metropolis Resort in Eau Claire. More info here. Sign up on the app or click the photo below. It's a great event for all high leaguers to consider attending! Other things: Youth Christmas Handbells: The kids will have the opportunity to learn and play handbells for the Sunday School Christmas program on Dec. 15th. We'll begin rehearsals on Wed., Nov. 13th at 5:00. Let me know if your child is interested! Kids must be able to understand/read rhythm/counting on sheet music and be able to attend rehearsals on Wednesday nights before and a little after Confirmation. Rehearsals: Wednesdays Nov. 13 & 20, Dec. 4 & 11, and Saturday Dec. 14, 9-11am. Friday Night Party Help: We'll be having another Friday night party on Nov. 15th and I need older youth to help out. She lives on Tower street across from the Village Pizzeria; look for a white house with a lantern by the road! High Leaguers are welcome to come in for a snack and some apple cider. We'll be going door-to-door to collect donations for the Amery Food Pantry. Let me know if you're able! Bring plastic or paper bags to collect donations in 8:00-9:30 High League for 8th & up November 2nd | 9:30-2:45 | 11:00-12:30 shift Join your church family as we volunteer at Feed My Starving Children in Coon Rapids, MN! Grab a friend, invite a neighbor, and sign up today! We hope to send a group of 25. You must be able to stand for 2 hours. Minimum age is 5; an adult must accompany kids in grades K-2. Godstock High School Youth Gathering November 8-10 | Metropolis Resort | Eau Claire This annual gathering takes place at the Metropolis Resort in Eau Claire, WI. About 300 high school youth from our Northwest Wisconsin Synod gather the weekend of Nov 8-10 for worship, workshops, music, and fun in Action City and Trampoline Park. We'll leave after school Friday and return around 1:00 on Sunday. More info here. Sign up here or on the app. Thanksgiving Party! November 15th | 5:30-7:30 1st-5th graders are welcome to come to our second Friday Night Party of the year, and older youth are welcome to come help! We'll have a thanksgiving feast (of sorts), talk about thankfulness, and play some games, too!  Don't forget to invite friends!
